Election Party!
November 4th was a very important day in the history of the United States. We elected the 44th President of the United States, and he happens to be an African American. I am so glad that as a country, we finally looked beyond race and elected someone based on their ideals and plan for the future. I had some students over to my apartment on election night to watch CNN and eat pizza. It was tons of fun, mostly because the 9th graders were very organized and I didn't have to do much work! They came prepared with treats and pizza and were excited to get together and watch the coverage of the election.
